this was a great world cup... from my point of view... this one is better than the last one ba.... haiz... the team tat i supported went out in the quater... haiz... my fav player kanna sent off too... sad for them... actually don wanna watch WC after tat le... but after brazil went out... haha... i decided to carry on watching it... cos all the final 4 teams r good and they r oso quite balance among themselves and all hav chances to win it so i decided to watch it... anyway now i wil tok abt how all the 5 continents fare ba...
firstly... Asia... wat the hell are they
(Japan, south Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran) doing none of them went past the group stages.... quite sad la.... cos i m oso from asia ma... haiz... the best team for asia i tink is South Korea ba... they actually hav the best chance to get through... but haiz... lost to switzerland... but they did well against the runners-up France.... the came back against angola... so well done for south korea only... the rest of the team... haiz... one word to describe them... S***S... but 1 thing to compliment abt saudi arabia is tat in their first match... they r juz seconds away from winning it... but they conceded a last min equaliser to tunisia... so sad... againt spain did well in the 1st half but gave way in the 2nd half... against Ukraine it totally ugly... tat it... Btw hope tat Singapore wil achieve their goal which is to get into the WC in 2010 ba.... hopefully... haha....
Now to North America which consist
USA, Mexico and Costa Rica... Costa Rica loses all their matches... so nth to say abt them.... USA got their chance... but juz too bad tat they r in a difficult group...they drew with eventual winner ITALY... but a poor match against Czech and an evenly match against Ghana tat cos them to lost both games tat end their hope.... so 2 out 3 did not get past the group stages... Mexico did well against portugal in the group stage but lose.... drew against Angola and won against Iran tat help them to go through... and they face one of the favourites Argentina... They were eliminated which i tink they don deserve the result.... Argentina played poorly but it juz tat one touch from Maxi Rodrigue tat help them won it in extra time... so... it sad for mexico but i tink they wil make a come back in africa... for USA... most of their are geting old le... so donno wat wil they produce in 2010... so good luck to all the north american... it the African turn....
Togo, Angola, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, T & T, Ghana represented them... only tunisia took part in previous WC b4... so it very difficult to judge which team wil do well... but Ivory Coast is actually one of the African hope... but they r place in the Group of Death... they eventually lost to argentina and holland on 2-1 to both team... but they won against S&M which is sth for them to cheer abt... i tink they wil do well in the next WC if they r not place in such a difficult group... for togo, angola and T&T did well in their 1st outing in WC... this gave them good experience even though the 3 of them combine to lose 7 games and only manage 2 draws and no win among them... tunisia hav a bad outing based on their standard... i believe this result is not wat they hav expected... the best africa team this time round is Ghana... who went past the 1st round.... only to be defeated by Brazil the defending champion... it 3-0... but it a pity for them... they should hav at least score 1 goals... so sad for them.... but from this world cup... we can see tat africa wil hav a chance to achieve good result in the coming world cup... cos most of them r quite young... so good luck to the african...
ok... eyes very tired le... wil continue tml with the biggest and most successful continent tat took part in this WC... wil try to analyse all the europe... Wil oso analyse one of the most powerful continent which is South America... and oso australia which almost get past italy... only to the last last min penalty from totti....
