Finally CL camp over... all the past few mths preparation for this CL camp finally came to an end in the 3 days... as a camp coor i felt tat i myself hav my own way of training my cadets... maybe i m not tough on my cadet but my way of teaching is to touch them and not to make them fear of mi... in the end i tink i did it... all of them did improve and i feel it a success... but of course not every camp end without any arguement... there are highs and lows in this camp... but mostly high... haha... now i wanna do a review on the 3 days camp...
day one - met in the morning with all CIs to set our standard and didnt really hav chance to say much because most of them are late... only said a few thing then mr ang came too... haha... after tat went to sch le... when outside the school found out tat time is running out... all the CIs are getting late... so i ran in to prepare... reach at 7.10... ok... 1st thing 1st the sec 3 did their initiative by falling in without CI asking them to... which is a good start... so start off with the admin thing after i said a few words and mr ang said a few words to announce the camp opening... then check their back then bunk in... bunk inspection... the cadets got some punishment from MS for some minor mistake in their bunk cleaning... then after tat ask them to change uniform... i apply another my own style... haha... didnt give them timing for changing... only ask them to be ready before all the CIs hu is changing.... and so... as expected... they did not fulfil it... we actually came out more than 15 min earlier than them... so ask them to change back to PT kit... then the girl change quite fast whereas ui did not see the guy... soi when all girls came down... i ask them to change back to uniform first... then boys came down and this is the one and only punishment tat i gave out in this camp... to the boys who even change back to PT kit oso so slow... so after tat ask them to change back to uniform... then drills started... it taken by ZH.... i did nth much for tat... juz walk ard and supervise... then after drills it lunch... all the CIs had loh mee... only i special hav laksa... haha... so after lunch it lecture by ML it about roles and responsiblity of CL... then after tat they had knot and lashing... and all their badge kanna confiscated... cos they do not noe all the 8 basic knots.. haha... then after tat it lecture on organizing a succesful campfire... after tat wash up then dinner time... ate halal food... haha... then after their dinner they had another lecture orienteering... and sth happen... they were rude to Serena.... haiz... was so disappointed with tat... as a camp coor not only i hav to protect my cadet but i oso hav to protect my CIs... so as they will having their sing along session... i had a small meeting with some of the CIs... and in the end decided tat i will tok to them personally with my 2 asst camp coor... as i do not hope any CI wil interfere.. bcos i can actually say tat the 3 of us is actually closer to the batch and i believe they will listen to mi when i tok to them nicely... ok... so actually this is my first real big decision tat i had to make... hope tat all the CIs wil not misunderstand... I really had my own ways.. thank for trusting mi... ya btw hav to thank alishia, mandy and nelson for coming back to help out on the sing along... the high gang... haha... then after their sinalong tok to them... i was really disappointed... and they will like all giving mi a sad look... because of sth i said... but of cos i cant reveal it here... only those hu is there will noe this... i promise... so they went of to their supper... then after tat i scrab off the debrief as it already very late... then after tat we had interview for them... i keep on running up and down to check on them and oso cal them down... was like exercising then nelson and mandy was like keep on laughing... haha... then after the interview which last ard 2 hrs... we had mac as supper it a treat from nelson haha... then we hav to finish eating it and oso wash up b4 1 cos sentry duty starting at 1... haha... then the first grp came down... then same as last year mandy walk with mi... haha... for all the grp... thank for keeping mi company... and oso ZH... during grp one... where jolene is in... when we were walking she actually shime the torch into the guard post i ask her not to shine... then she was like so scare after i say sth.... haha... face change... then 2nd grp... carmen hu scare snail... i step on one snail and she was like so scare for the whole sentry... juz care abt the ground.. haha... then grp 3 nth special happen... then after all 3 grp finish le... i was like damn tired... but stil hav to write 200 lines for using CH 8... haiz... it difficult to change u see. and as we actually punish the cadet for using CH 8 so all CI felt tat it only fair tat all of us oso write it.... cant rmb the last time i write lines... PRI sch...???? i tink... haha... then was like write til behind liao too tired... then write nonsense on some lines... haha... then finish le... went to sleep for ard 2 hrs... then woke up for day2...
Day two - PT taken by ZH... mi, jason, mandy and nelson was sitting on the stage i try to slp but jason disturb mi by pressing the ring alarm to the Walkie... idiot... when waken up... saw nelson sleeping again... haha... slp so long liao stil slp... haha... then ZH was stil giving PT all of them was like so not energetic... the timing tat nelson came out for them which is oso known among CIs but now let u all noe... your 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 become SLEEP,2,3,4,5,6,7,8... haha by nelson... so after PT it breakfast... after breakfast Drill again... this time taken by Jason... then mi ZH amd MS was like so shay... went into councillor room to rest... haha... actually shld i say sleep... haha... and after drills they should hav tent pitching de... but i decided to scrab again bcos i drills stil got alot to learn so decided on tat.... so after Drills it lunch again... after lunch got orienteering prac... they went to CBP... so it the chance for mi to grab some slp... so mi and jason was slping there... slp for 1 hr plus... then when wake up heard tat mr wong took our slping pic... haha... so shock... argh... haha... so after lecture by mr wong on leadership... they played some games... i was not there as we were preparing for the campfire prac... so after the lecture... they had the campfire thing.... oh ya... during orienteering prac... sth sort of the same happen... rude again... so tok to them again... i tink this time round they really wake up liao... so after tat dinner time... then special program.... everyone was relaxed and oso high... went ard writing comment for every sec 3... and after finish writing for everyone... everyone came to write for mi... i got 6 plates... the most... haha... then after tat i write to all the CI and serena write to mi... haha... after tat is free time and supper time... then CIs was having a so called small sing along session... haha...then hav a small final debrief on the camp for all CIs... then debrief for cadet in parade ground for them to relax... ask them to refresh on wat happen for the past days... and tink wat they had done wrong which can be done right.... haha... then after tat... they went back to bunk to slp le... haha.... then mi and jason went to check... went up to the girls bunk... saw regina and jol scared mi they was studying and using torchlight... scared us... then they suddenly shout... cos they saw us... haha... then they say they saw sth oppsite... jason turn and oso say he saw sth... but when i turn i saw nth... they tink too much,... so ask them to go slp if not conficate their hand book... haha... then ard 2 went to bath then when we come out ard 220 le... went to ask ling zheng and peng sian come out... it a plan we set to see whether the rest of sec 3 notice any mate are missing anot.. so we kept the 2 of them under the stair... then 230 blow whistle for fire drill... haha... they came down then ask them go up again... cos they too slow le... til then they stil haven discover.... so 2nd time when they come down and they stil didnt discover til reporting... haha... then ask them to search ard... they search for more than 10 min but stil cant find... it was like so funny... keep on seeing them running past the place where we hide but they juz cant turn in and find... haha... in the end ask them fall back then bring the 2 out... then lecture them for a while then ask them go back slp le... then CI oso go do all their thing... then i went to slp for ard two hr again... then when i woke up at 5 was shock to see all CI aslp... haha... went to np room to wake ML up becos she was suppose to tak PT... when i cal her see her sit up le... so tot she wake up le lor... so i decided to go back and slp for a while more... when i wake up at 630 again was so shock to see no one was there... went to look for ML again... she was stil slping... so those hu noe shld noe wat happen next... haha... so to day 3...
Day three - breakfast time... CI got nth to eat... i tel the cadet at first they don get wat i mean but after 2nd reminder, they noe le... so they do the bread with peanut butter and jam for us... i got the biggest one... got 3 slices the rest only 1 slice... was so touched... haha... so after that test... then after test photo taking time... all was so high... so finish le photo taking as them to pack up their thing and clean the area... after tat ask them to go to AVA Room for final debrief and camp breaking... during tat i tok to them first then after that show them the video prepared by the CIs and after tat saw regina and jol eye wet wet de... teary teary de... haha... so after tat mr wong continue and give out the award best male camper- hong leong... best female camper- felicia... most improve camper- peng sian and last but not leat most knowledgable camper- carmen... haha... then after tat i annouce camp break and tat the end of the 1st CADET LEADER CAMP 2008..
here i now wan to thank the follwing ppl for making the camp so successful... the teacher officer, all the CIs and oso the NCO and sec 2 helper... thanks for ur help without u all this camp wil not be so successful.... thanks on behalf of CBSS NPCC...
